As the first months of the year melt away, and the change of colours and brisker mornings sneak into our days, we find ourselves asking “what am I going to get Mum for mother’s day?” I’d like to suggest a slight change from the normal flannelette pyjamas or bunch of flowers to say “Thanks for loving and putting up with me Mum!” … Come down to Corridor, 153 King St, Newtown, 4 - 7pm, for an afternoon of tapas, mojitos and live jazz! Of course it’s imperative to BYO mums, and dads are more than welcome to come along too!

Calling all locals (and of cause non locals)! Come on down to Cafe Newtown, cnr of King St and Enmore Rd, Fri 12 March 2010 to celebrate the weekend. I’ll be playing from 7 - 9pm so come, support live music and indulge your musical senses. X

Kiwi Waka Festival

To celebrate ‘Waitangi Day’ in the Northern Beaches the Time and Tide Hotel, 30 Campbell Ave Dee Why, will be hosting the Kiwi Waka Festival 2010, Sun 7 February 2010 from 9am - 5pm. Jubilation will be spreading the joy and love from 2pm but there’ll be cultural performances, live bands and entertainers, traditional food, arts and craft stalls, jumping castles, face painting and lots more fun for the whole family throughout the day. Tix: $5 Adults, Gold coin donation 5 - 16yrs/ seniors, Free for kids under 5yrs.

Wow! How crazy has this year been? With Christmas only a few days away I just want to take the opportunity to say a HUGE thankyou to all of you for the love, encouragement and constant support you’ve given me throughout the year. The title of this post says it all! Thank you to all the beautiful people who ventured out Tue 10 November 2009 to the Brass Monkey to make my debut originals gig so enjoyable. It was a truely magical night and I was so blessed to have you all there beside me. Thank you for your support! X

Exciting times ahead, I’m supporting Matt Corby for his first EP launch, Tue 10 November 2009, at the Brass Monkey, 115a Cronulla St Cronulla. Doors open at 7pm (but I’m on at 8:20 - 9pm) and the cover is $12. Best to book dinner and show if you’re looking to make a night out of it. This will certainly be an exciting night of debuts, I will be debuting many of my originals that have hidden from the world and are busting to get out. It’d be great to have your support. For those who have never ventured to the Brass Monkey, you’re in for a treat!
